Eligibility Criteria
Currently pursuing MBBS or B.Sc Nursing at AIIMS Jodhpur

Spot registration also available on 6th October between 4 pm to 4:30 PM at Lecture Theatre-1, AIIMS Jodhpur.

Quiz Competition Procedure
1) The last date for online registration for the competition is 4th October 2021 - 5 pm IST.
2) The quiz will be an online live quiz. Those who register for the competition will be provided with zoom link for the online live quiz before 5th October 5 pm IST.
In case you don’t get the link by then, please contact Quiz Co-ordination committee at 'nationalpsychiatryquiz@gmail.com' for the same.
The persons who register on-spot should attend the quiz from Lecture Theatre-1 Only

3) The online quiz will be held on 6th October from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
​
4) There are two options to attend the quiz:
​
Purely Online (2 Electronic devices needed – One for joining Zoom link and another for entering responses online),
OR
At Lecture Theatre-1 with a Single Electronic Device (For entering responses online)
Electronic device here refers to Either Smartphone / Laptop / Tablet with Good internet connectivity.
Rules for Purely Online Mode of Participation
1) All the quiz participants attempting quiz completely online should have two electronic devices – Device 1 and Device 2, both of which has good internet connection.
Device 1 for joining the Zoom meeting.
Device 2 for entering the Quiz response.

Devices can be Smartphone / Tablet / Laptop / Desktop Computer, which should have web-camera with good quality video, mic and speaker.
​
2) The participants should join the zoom meeting through the zoom link sent on their mail from by 4:00 pm on 6th October 2021 through Device 1 for audiovisual check and mock test. The device should be positioned in such a way that the participant’s face and both hands operating the other device are visible at all times.
3) If at any time the participants’ video is switched off, the participant will be disqualified. The whole meeting will be monitored throughout the quiz and will also be recorded from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In case of any discrepancy, the decision of the Quiz co-ordination committee will be final.
4) The participants should not refer to books or ebooks / ask others for help for responses / browse for responses. If anyone is found to be involved in the same, they will be disqualified.
5) The participants will be constantly monitored through the zoom meeting. In case of any discrepancy, the decision of the Quiz co-ordination committee will be final.

6) A mock test will be provided to the participants from 4 pm to 5:00 pm on 6th October 2021, so that they can get familiarized with the quiz procedure.
This mock test will neither be recorded nor live transmitted through YouTube. Hence, all participants are requested to join the link by 4 pm on 6th October 2021.
​
7) The code to start entering the responses in the final main live quiz will be provided on the day of final quiz, i.e., 6th October at 5:00 pm.
​
8) The questions of the Final Main Live quiz will be displayed live:
a) Through the Zoom meeting
AND
b) On the participant’s Device no.2
​
As the zoom meeting will be live streamed on YouTube, the questions can also be seen by others watching the same through YouTube.
​
9) For each question displayed during the live quiz, all the participants should enter their response through their Device 2.
Rules for those attending At Lecture Theatre-1 with single device
1) All Participants who want to attend at Lecture Theatre -1 should bring one electronic device (Laptop / Mobile/ Tablet) along with them, which has good internet connectivity.
2) The participants should reach the Lecture Theatre – 1 by 4 PM.

3) Mock Test will be provided to the participants at the Lecture Theatre -1 between 4 PM to 5:00 PM
4) The actual quiz competition will be conducted between 5 PM to 7 PM
​
5) The questions of the Final Main Live quiz will be displayed live:
a) On the Projected screen in the Hall
AND
b) On the participant’s Device no.2
AND
c) Live streamed on YouTube, the questions can also be seen by others watching the same through YouTube.
6) For each question displayed during the live quiz, all the participants should enter their response through their Device.
Rules / Instructions common to both groups
1) Each question will have to be answered within the specified time limit for that particular question, which will be informed to the participant for each question. This time-limit for the response for each question will range from 1 minute to 3 minutes depending on the question type.

2) If a person does not enter the response within a particular time-limit for the question, it will be considered as no response from that participant.
3) A summary of the responses given by all the participants for each question as well as the correct answer for each question will be displayed after
a) Responses are received from all participants,
OR
b) The time limit for that question is over.
4) Again, as this program will be livestreamed, the summary of responses as well as correct answer will also be seen by all the viewers of the YouTube program.
​
5) The participant giving the correct answer in shortest duration of time, will be given more points than a person giving the correct answer in longer duration of time. Hence, try to provide the answer as fast as possible.
​
6) A leaderboard, showing the scores of all participants and which participant is in the lead, will be displayed after each question.
7) Since the leaderboard does not take into account the monitoring by the organizing committee for the participants, the final results will not be based only on the leaderboard.

8) The final winners will be based on
​
a) The results displayed on leaderboard
AND
b) The Video monitoring showing no cheating by the participants who are attending completely online.
AND
c) The monitoring at the Lecture Theatre-1 showing no cheating by the participants who are attending the quiz from Lecture Theatre-1.
​
9) In case of cheating by the participants (Found browsing online for results, referring to books, or asking others for responses), they will be considered as disqualified and they will not be considered as winners.
​
10) The winners of the quiz will be declared after approximately 15 to 30 minutes after completion of the quiz, during the live program. The Top 3 scorers among those who are not disqualified will be declared as winners of the national quiz.
11) In case of any issues / discrepancy, the decision of the ‘Quiz Co-ordination committee’ will be final.
12) The Winners of the quiz will be declared at 7:00 pm through the following modes:
